Dionaea muscipula A2 originally came from a self pollinated plant Henning Von Schmeling called the D. Carolina Giant from that self pollination Henning got 7 plants the best clone, #A1 was later changed to D. B52 named after the named after the large bomber. Clone A2 was the second largest of those 7 original plants. D. 'A2' is know for having some of the largest traps of any flytrap very similar to D. B52.
These are mature flowering size plants, between the months of November-March they will be much smaller because of dormancy. |
